Terms and Conditions
1.1 The general terms and conditions apply to all agreements relevant to online orders between Knap'man®, trademark of Shapewear Europe B.V., and the customer.
1.2 Shapewear Europe B.V. reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions as well as the contents of its website at any time.
1.3 Upon placing an order, all customers state that they agree to the general delivery terms without reservation.
2 Pricing and special offers
2.1 The prices listed for each item are in Euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are not included in the prices listed.
2.2 Shapewear Europe B.V. is not responsible for the consequences resulting from layout, data entry and/or programming or software errors on its website. No rights or entitlements may be derived from incorrect pricing information.
2.3 Special offers are only valid for the specified duration and until stock runs out.
3.1 Payments must be made via the payment methods provided on the website.
3.2 Orders must always be paid for in advance and in full. The order will only be shipped once payment has been settled in full.
3.3 If payment is not made within 8 days, the order will be cancelled.
3.4 Payments will be processed via DOCDATA.
4 Shipping Costs
4.1 Shipping costs differ per country. You pay 1 amount regardless of the size of the order.
4.2 The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs when exchanging/returning items.
4.3 When an item is exchanged, Shapewear Europe B.V. will pay the shipping costs one time for the item to be sent out in exchange for the item that has been returned.
5.1 Shapewear Europe B.V. outsources the delivery of its orders. Delivery status can be tracked via the website. You will receive an e-mail with a tracking number.
5.2 Shapewear Europe B.V. attempts to ship orders within 24 ours after receipt of payment.
5.3 Shapewear Europe B.V. shall make every effort to deliver accepted orders in 2 working days. If delivery is delayed – either due to temporary lack of stock or other reasons – or if the order can only be partially shipped or it cannot be shipped at all, the customer will be informed accordingly. In such a case, the customer is entitled to cancel the remainder of the order verbally or in writing.
Shapewear Europe B.V. is legally required to deliver an order within 30 days. If the customer does not receive the order within this time period, the customer can dissolve the order free of charge.
5.4 Shapewear Europe B.V. is not responsible for any damages incurred by the customer if the order is delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
6.1 An order may be cancelled as long as it is cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order or as long as the order has not yet been shipped. You can cancel your order either by telephone or by e-mail.
7 Exchanges and Returns
7.1 If an item does not meet your expectations, you have the option to exchange or return the item. Only unused, unwashed and unworn items in their original packaging can be returned.
7.2 The customer is responsible for the shipping costs and risk for the return shipment.
7.3 Items that have been discounted by 70% or more cannot be exchanged or returned.
7.4 The following terms apply to returns and/or exchanges:
a) Once your order has been delivered, you have 7 business days to exchange or return items. Once this time period has passed, the purchase can no longer be dissolved and is considered final.
b) The goods must be in their original state, which means that they must be unworn, tags must still be attached to each item and they must be returned in a sturdy package. If the item tag is no longer attached, we are obliged to withhold 25% of the purchase price.
c) The returns form must be completely filled in and sent together with your return shipment.

d) Return shipments with insufficient postage or no postage will not be accepted, regardless of the reason for the return.
e) When exchanging an item, Shapewear Europe B.V. will pay the shipping costs one time only to ship the exchanged item to the customer.
f) For returns (cancelled purchase of 1 or more items), the sum to be refunded (excl. shipping costs) will be transferred to your account as soon as possible, but within 30 days at the latest.

8.1 Shapewear Europe B.V. strives to deliver all products from stock. However, it may occur that an item is temporarily out of stock or that it is sold out. You will be notified of this as soon as possible. In this case, the customer is entitled to cancel the order free of charge. Shapewear Europe B.V. shall refund the customer’s payment in this case.
9 Warranty and Liability
9.1 Shapewear Europe B.V. guarantees that its products meet the standards that are generally required of such products and that products are free of any defects whatsoever.
9.2 The warranty specified under 9.1 is valid for a period of 1 month after delivery.
9.3 As proof for warranty purposes, you will receive a proof of purchase receipt from Shapewear Europe B.V.
9.4 If the items do not meet the terms of these warranties, Shapewear Europe B.V. shall choose to either replace or repair these items within a reasonable time period after receipt of defective item or, if the item in all reasonableness cannot be returned, upon receipt of a written notification from you regarding the nature of the defect. In the event of replacement, you now promise to return the item to be replaced to Shapewear Europe B.V. and to transfer the property rights for that product back to Shapewear Europe B.V.
9.5 The warranty specified herein does not apply to a defect resulting from incorrect use or if, without the written consent of Shapewear Europe B.V., you or any third party have made changes or attempted to make changes to the item or if you have used the item for purposes for which it is not intended.
9.6 If the item does not meet the requirements as agreed and if this non-conformance is a defect in the sense of product liability, then Shapewear B.V. is not liable for any resulting consequential damages.
9.7 The provision in these general terms and agreements with respect to the warranty has no effect on your warranty agreements by virtue of the law, in compliance with these general terms and conditions and the provision governed by the agreement, including the nature of the item that has been sold and delivered to you.
9.8 When the manufacturer of a defective product is responsible for consequential damage, the responsibility of Shapewear Europe B.V. is limited to the repair or replacement of the item, or to the refund of the purchase sum.
9.9 Without prejudice to the above statements, Shapewear Europe B.V. cannot be held responsible if the damage is intentional and/or due to gross negligence and/or injudicious or improper use by the customer.
9.10. The limitations of liability for direct damage set forth in these terms and conditions do not apply if the damage is intentional or due to gross negligence on the part of the employees of Shapewear Europe B.V.
Your personal information is registered in the customer file of Shapewear Europe B.V.
We use your personal information to execute the terms of the agreement and for responsible customer administration, risk management and marketing purposes.
We do not share any information with any third parties that would harm your privacy.
If you no longer wish to receive commercial offers from us, you can send us a notification by e-mail to that effect.

It is prohibited to copy, store, publish, duplicate or otherwise use any text and/or images without prior written approval. Any infringement will result in legal proceedings.
